So you've booked your session...great! But now what's going to happen? Well, we're glad you asked. First, you're going to do a happy dance. This is a normal response. It's exciting to schedule a session! But then you start thinking, "Yikes! What are we going to wear?!"

Okay, take a deep breath. We've got you covered. Mosey on over to our ever-expanding Pinterest board to see some examples of photo styling (that's fancy-talk for "how to dress yourself and your people"). The most important thing is to be yourself. I know, I know, what does that even mean? It means you're not going to show up in yoga pants and an old WWE t-shirt (or maybe you will, and I won't judge). What I mean is to be comfortable. This is especially important for kids. You put a rough-and-tumble toddler in a three-piece suit, and chances are, they are going to be too distracted to cooperate. And that's no fun for anyone.

10 Steps to an awesome session

  1. You send an email, FB message, smoke signal, or carrier pigeon to request a session.
  2. We email or chat on the phone to decide on a date, time, and location.
  3. We send you a contract and invoice to formally reserve your spot.
  4. You will receive a reminder email a week before with tips for preparing for your session, and also one a day before, confirming the time, date, and location.
  5. We'll meet up the day of your session and will have some fun taking pictures!
  6. Within a couple days, you will receive a sneak peek or two of your images via Facebook.
  7. When all of your images have been edited, you will receive another email with instructions for accessing your online gallery.
  8. You follow the instructions for viewing/choosing/downloading your images.
  9. We are humbled and overwhelmed with thankfulness for your business.
  10. You tell all your friends about us. :)
