I Wish.

I wish I had more time to write all the things I want to write about. There are memory cards full of experiment, tutorials, homemade weed killer, even an awesome food tour of Pittsburgh. I wish I could take 15 minutes every day and write a quick post with a funny story. Lord knows I have a million of them. There is no shortage.

I wish I had boundless energy to effectively use every waking moment of my time to do something impactful for my family, friends and community.

I wish I could give my hubs more than exhausted leftovers at the end of the day, on those rare evenings when he's not scheduled to close his store.

I wish I saw my beautiful little girl more than 2 waking hours a day.

I wish I had it all figured out — how to set perfect boundaries, how to say no, when to say yes.

But at the same time, I absolutely know that God has planted our family right where He wants us, under just the right weather (life) conditions, and for such a time as this. And so I don't wish for any of this to change until the time is right. So while I may not be the most consistent blogger, I want to let you know that it's only because I wish to be a more consistent wife, mama and worker first, and everything else just has to fill in where it may.

Happy weekend, everybody!
